The Ask
Beakerhead, an awe-inspiring fusion of art, science, and engineering, approached us to help elevate the visibility of their one-of-a-kind annual event. Their goal was to boost event awareness, grow their audience, and drive engagement across both digital and traditional platforms. To do this, they needed strategic support in social media marketing and management, content creation, and public relations—aimed at igniting curiosity, expanding their reach, and inspiring more people to experience the wonder of Beakerhead firsthand.
The Results
We delivered a content-forward strategy that amplified Beakerhead’s voice and boosted visibility across platforms leading up to the 2024 event. From June to September, Facebook content reached over 71,000 users, while Instagram followers grew by 1,000 from August to September alone. Our media outreach secured 68 media mentions with a combined reach of 82 million. We activated 33 influencers—including YYC Cravings and Michela Sheedy—producing 17 collab posts with over 220,000 views and 6,119 engagements. Strategic collaboration with TELUS Spark’s team ensured consistent messaging and brand alignment, driving major engagement and awareness for this celebration of science and creativity.
